Document status and contracting party
This is a review outline, not a binding agreement. Confirm the legal operator, who is offering the website, effective date, version history, and locations in which the terms are intended to apply.
Website use and availability
Counsel to finalize access, permitted-use, account/security (if applicable), site availability, maintenance, and suspension terms. Define prohibited interference, unlawful use, and infringement without overreaching beyond the actual service.
Product information and no order flow
This informational site has no cart or checkout. Product descriptions, specifications, compatibility, availability, range, and performance are not a substitute for current approved product documentation or boat-specific engineering review; confirm the content-review process and appropriate qualifications. State whether a contact request creates any offer or contract only after counsel approves.
Intellectual property and permitted use
Confirm ownership/licences for GLIDE marks, product images, lifestyle imagery, text, and technical materials, and define visitor permissions and restrictions. Confirm that all supplied and generated concept imagery is cleared for the planned publication.
Visitor submissions and forms
The current contact and product-registration pages are nonfunctional previews. Before activating forms, define submission handling, prohibited confidential/sensitive content, permissions needed to respond, retention, and any separately optional marketing choice. Do not imply a submission is stored or creates a warranty, purchase, or service relationship unless the final flow does so.
Product registration and partner portal
The planned registration flow and invitation-only Partner Portal may have separate terms, eligibility, account, warranty, and data rules. Identify and link those terms only after the backend and portal owners approve the relationship; no identifier verification or partner lookup is active in this mockup.
Third-party links and services
Inventory outbound links, embedded content, hosting and other providers before launch. Decide how external terms/privacy notices are linked and describe responsibility only in wording approved by counsel; a link alone does not establish endorsement.
Warranty, disclaimers, and liability
Counsel must draft enforceable warranty treatment, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity (if appropriate), exclusions, and consumer-law savings language based on the actual operator, products, and jurisdictions. Do not publish the legacy boilerplate as-is.
Disputes and governing law
Select governing law, forum or dispute resolution, notice method, and severability/waiver rules only after the legal operator and consumer jurisdictions are confirmed. Preserve mandatory rights and remedies.
Changes, termination, and notices
Set how material terms changes are communicated, when they take effect, how prior versions are retained, and where legal notices go. Confirm that any account suspension or termination provisions match actual site functionality.
Questions
General website inquiries use the GLIDE contact form. A verified legal-notice/privacy route and accountable recipient must be added before publication.
